Biography:
Dr Sebastian Gimenez was born in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He attended one of the oldest boarding schools in Argentina where he enjoyed wonderful years and met his lifelong best friends. He continued his education at Universidad del Salvador where he earned his diploma in medicine. Sebastian became a member of the medical community in the early 2000's working in family medicine and pediatric fields. As a member of the International Research Center of the Argentine Medical Association, he began to travel abroad for research and educational purposes.
He has gained training for his medical career in different cities throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. He then began working within the educational field for different medical schools. He has also coordinated the international agenda at different medical institutions.
In his current position as Health Information Technology Specialist, he is responsible for assisting healthcare providers with assessing Electronic Health Records (EHR) needs and recommending viable validated EHR solutions, and assist healthcare providers with Meaningful Use of their Health Information Technology. His areas of interest are Telehealth, Broadband Digital Equity and Public Health. He continues to teach Methodology of Research and Medical Informatics for the Instituto Universitario de Ciencias de la Salud of the Fundación H.A. Barceló and the Argentine Medical Association.
La Asociación Médica Argentina (AMA) se dedica desde 1891 a la Educación en las Ciencias de la Salud. El Curso Internacional de Investigación se ha sumado a este desafío por invitación de su Presidente, Prof. Dr. Elías Hurtado Hoyo.
